    Default New place coming together

It’s taken a lot of time, money and energy but we got it looking pretty good. We ended up with 4 members including myself with one being a fellow ducker who has done a pile of work. I am excited about the season.

All looking nice Bobby- from experience through the years- if you will set up a ground blind in the vegetation under the tower- it will give you plenty of extra opportunities you wouldn't get from a tree stand- and give you a place to take kids. Shooting sticks and a folding chair with backrest and armrests are all you need.

I laughed when you were talking about not waiting till the last minute when it's 100 degrees outside to work on things. I have two stands on my farm that I want to move and told myself I was going to do it in April or May, well they are still in their original spot.

I’d like to see more posts like this on the forum compared to current bickering

I planted a few plots on my new place Saturday, and a little dove field since I finally got the clearing done and it dried out a bit. By 7pm, I was sick of the heat, as well. I put in beans, buckwheat and millet. Gonna wait for it cool off a bit before I get into the clovers and fall crops. Still need to finish a couple of permanent stands, and I'm dreading it.

Anxious to see if this guy is still around. He is high and tight. Caught him on camera in January when I picked it up.

Flat Rock Road end of power line or on the 521 side? My family has land on the county line on Flat Rock that we hunt.
