Some folks use safer sunscreen than others.

Keep lathering yourself in a chemical paste to block the one thing that, without it, nothing would be alive. Sounds legit bro.
Totally agree, Jimmy. And another thing, when you get melanoma, DO NOT listen the so-called “scientists/doctors” about all this surgery or chemo or modern medicine mumbo jumbo. There’s all kind of natural options. I hear you can make a petroleum product from a copperhead that works wonders.

Melanoma will happen with sun or without it. Some people would get it living in a closet. The only time to catch a melanoma is stage 1 in situ. Otherwise, it’s mental torture.

I think understand what you’re saying but Jimmy seems nuttier than squirrel shit so let me ask this: would you agree that UV exposure, especially as a child getting sunburned, is linked to melanoma?

My ex's father is blind so since he was 14 he's never been big on going outside. Found out he was eat up with it earlier this year.

Some are making the claim that oxidation from things like seed oils are actually what make you more likely to develop skin cancer. And that sunscreen in itself is carcinogenic.

I don't know. I'm not a doctor, nor have I read any of the studies they are citing to make the claims. I'm just saying that maybe Jimmy has a leg to stand on.

    I am absolutely saying this.

Everyone has different tolerance to sun exposure. I've never said saying out in the sun all day until your skin blisters is a good idea. That is clearly dangerous.

What I thought I was clearly saying is that exposure to the sun so that your skin tans, without any sunscreen, is not only good for you, it's a much better alternative to applying sunscreen.

Your skin is the largest organ on your body, why would you cover it in a chemical paste just to stay in the sun longer? Doesn't it seem like just putting on long sleeves, a hat, and pants would be smarter if you have to be outside for a long time? Or maybe moving to the shade?

That's what I do but my skin is a little more forgiving. I can thank my Italian side of the family for that. My wife is just straight up white cracker lol. She has to be way more careful than me but even she gave up sunscreen and has done this exact same thing. Limited sun, no sunscreen, long sleeves/hat/shade/etc. when she feels she's been in the sun enough. The result is this last 2 Summers she's gotten a better tan than I've seen in the 12 years we've been together. If her pasty skin can get tan instead of painfully burned, anyone can.

I haven't used that stuff in going on 10 years now and never will again.

i dont use sunscreen but I damn sure see the mathematical link between sun exposure and skin cancer.

But do you think that's from people getting enough exposure to tan, without sunscreen, or from people who get painfully burned several times a summer for their entire lives?

correlation is not causation. Oh wait nevermind. That only works one way in health care.

I like to think I’m “fairly” healthy. I go to the gym 2 to 4 times a week, and I do whatever they’ve got on the board. Maybe scale the weight down sometimes, but I’m not doing this one. O U T

What ain't healthy is the way the yankees fed the illegals in their sanctuary city while waiting on the transportation to get them the hell off of their island...

Those elite broads don't cook, it's below them. That's a task for the peasants they hire.
