Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.

That’s a cool story. Makes the decoys even better. Gives em some mojo.

Bo, I could have a 24ft duckboat and I’d fill it with decoys
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    That’s the white river cruiser.

My newest of the fleet heads west as soon as krt finishes the trailer up. You should come El Capitan

ETA : I have a caretaker now that cooks like its his job. He calls himself the white tornado. Not real sure about all that but he’s doing a fine job of upkeep. Lol

I felt compelled to hunt them as is the day after I got them, knowing they would never be the same. The big drake on top maple leafed from the stratosphere right into Mr Tim’s beat up old decoys just had many had done before. (The center bird with the Homer head was already mine)

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
