    Default Pecan tree down

So i lost a good size limb Friday night after that storm. Well the wife and I were at the grocery store this evening and my neighbor called and said they heard a loud crash at my house. Got home and this one was on the power line going to my house. Whole tree is going to have to come down. Damnit!!!! Atleast i knew the two Duke Power boys that showed up. They got us off the power line and cleaned up a bit while i drank beer and finished up some Brisket style Tri-tip. Them boys don’t get the credit they deserve for what they do with these storms.

I wouldn’t take the tree down for that. It may be ok. I’m no tree guy though.

Oh no 1st phone call was to my tree guy down the street. That pic of the limb broke off was Friday. 1/2 the tree is now missing. It will all come down in another wind storm if he dont get to it first. I wish i could keep it but it’s beyond saving. Luckily i still have my Hican and the neighbor has his pecan so hopefully they can still polinate

Find someone who knows how to run a bbq pit and they will gladly come take that tree down for you.... Good pecan wood is hard to beat in the smoker.

I tried to give away an entire pecan tree to a fellow that fancies himself a smoker of meat and he turned his nose up at it.

I don’t want it nor need it. After that last fiasco of trying to help a brutha out I’m kinda gun shy anyway.

Oh i will be keeping some. Sent out a few texts to friends that have stick burners to come get all they want. Neighbor is my tree guy so he said it would be late next week before he could get to it so i got a little time.

Does your 'tree guy' neighbor have a tree business? I need to get a couple of decent quotes to clear out some limbs/trees that are too close to the house and the last two guys never showed up.
