My daughter gave me some, I think she called them, Mad Hatter Peppers. Of course, now that I look at them it looks like I cut someone's ear off...

Yep left is mine. I like alot more black pepper and stuff.
In reference to grilled shrimp, I've started using a chili lime spice blend that's available at Trader Joe's that is really good. I first baste them with garlic butter and add a little Jane's Krazy Salt.
Thanks for asking.I almost never use a recipe so I don't have much in the way of measurements but...
I salt & peppered the salmon and shrimp then fried them in shallow oil with a pat of butter. After cooking that I poured most of the oil off keeping a little oil and the crunchies from the bottom of the pan. Added about a cup of 2% milk with a tablespoon of flour whisked in, a good bit of salt and pepper, parsley, onion powder, the sliced Mad Hatter peppers (they're sweet not hot at all), and a half of a shot glass of white balsamic vinegar because I didn't have any white wine. It thickened up a little more than I wanted so I watered it down some before putting it on the fish. I must say, the vinegar made the sauce. My wife is a PITA about food but she really liked this. 9 out of 10 in her words. Oh, and I let the shrimp simmer in the sauce to soften them up a little after frying.
