    Default Son’s First Old Drum

We tried to catch some earlier in the day with popping corks but the bait we found didn’t produce any fish.

Later that evening we went out after the storms and picked up this one. He managed the rod for ~5 min and gave out. I took over and he helped reel after short rests.

This is one of the biggest fish I’ve seen brought on the boat.

If he reeled that in…mercy. Congrats to him. That’s just plain fun.

We’re y’all planning on fishing at night or are you training to be a gynecologist?

Who among us isn't an amateur gynocologist?! We were just about out of visible light and I'm not a fan of playing with sharp hooks by touch.

    The boat is a friend's 20' or 21' C-Hawk.

After the boy caught the fish, Perry baptized him off the back of the boat.
