Yeah I hunt behind the house now mostly and some WMA. My brothers will always end up asking if they can come hunt at some point and I really do not care but I always ask them during the summer to come help maintain or cut something down or do some work. I am still waiting on the help and I have been hunting here now for 3 years. It really is more of a way for them to bring there kids over and spend some time in the woods with everyone but they only see it as work.
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965
