    Default QD mount for AR

I have exactly zero experience with QD mounts. I bought an AR in 6.8 spc for my 7 year old to tip deer over with. I am also going to use it to shoot hogs at night with thermal. What QD mounts should I get to allow me to switch them out? Will they lose zero?

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

I have Noveske QDs on one of mine. Two levers. They work.

I would call Talley and see if they make what you’re looking for.

I've got LaRue on three ARs. Pricey but worth it. It is surprising how well they repeat after dismount/remount. The rings are separate from the base so if you get a new scope with a different tube size you can just replace the rings.

Second on Larue. And you're going to love that 6.8. That's what my kids shoot on deer. Suppress it and it's like a .223.

This...I'd give them a call and run over there. They should have what you want.

I’ve got one for sale in the TP. It comes with a Trijicon thermal. Works well on a 12.5” suppressed 6.8.

Larue. If you can find any of the Barnes 95 grain TTSX ammo, it really turns the 6.8 into a hammer. I shot several deer and pigs quartering to me to see what that little bullet would do. The bullets I recovered had travelled the length on the animal. I loaned the rifle to my buddy in FL to try out. He killed a 300 pound bear with it when their season reopened a couple of years ago. He killed a big Axis in TX last spring with it while we were down turkey hunting.

AA2200 will make the 6.8 95gr TTSX scream. Unfortunately my rifles don’t particularly like it.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
