    Default Atlanta Eats

Headed to Atlanta next week for a Braves game. What are your go-to’s in Atlanta, specifically BBQ? One of my favorite joints burned and hasn’t been reopened (not Wendy’s). Open to any and all suggestions just don’t say The Varsity.

It’s not bbq but I was watching the chef show on Netflix and they had some lobster place on it that looked amazing. I’ve never been so take it for what it’s worth

Fox Bros BBQ. I get the chicken fried ribs and a pound of sliced brisket. They will ask you if you want lean or fatty. I get the fatty. Not far off I-20. Parking can be a challenge; not much restaurant parking. I’ve parked in an adjoining neighborhood on the street in the past.

There’s not a good enough restaurant on earth to make me want to stop in Atlanta and eat there.

We eat there a couple times a year. It's worth the coin for sure.

I’d be completely fine with that. The crew I’ll be traveling with would not be. I can make a trip with a loaf of white bread and a pack of bologna.

Ice cold craft beer also......... just sayin. Get inside the stadium where it's safe and enjoy. Plenty of food choices for the group. Be sure to get one of the $15.00 frozen peach/mango Bourbon drinks if you want to try something new and tasty. They are very good.

The only one I could recommend in Atlanta is at the airport. Concourse B has Pascal's. It has Southern food/soul food that's usually pretty damn good but what I really like about it is, after traveling to some God-forsaken northern states and beyond, when I pass back through ATL on the way home, they have real sweet tea and the ladies there call you "Honey" or "Dear" and it reminds me that I'm back in the South and almost home.
