    Default Vaccine longevity

Will you need to take the Covid vaccine yearly like the flu vaccine or is it a one and done? Just wondering how long it lasts.

    They don't know yet.
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

not as long as natural immunity. glad it ran through our house.

    What happened to the flu?
    Did it miraculously become extinct?

it'll be back like normal this fall with less masking and more people interacting. is this what you want?

flu is seasonal. there's one simple fact.
    second is masking and distancing.
third is symptomatic review. people with coughs or fever took extra precautions.
hence, that virus wasnt spread as much.

many would predict much higher flu rates this fall.

If you can still catch It then why get a shot maybe? I know several people who have tested positive now after being vaccinated, some have mild symptoms some more severe. Sharing information is never bad unless you're trying to push an initiative and that information could make people go a different direction.

It's what medical professionals call a "breakthrough case". Breakthrough cases are important to medical professionals.

i'm not pushing a damn thing. My kids arent vaccinated. I am all about freedom.

    "breakthrough case" wtf is that?

the vaccine is 95% effective and you can still catch the virus but expect far less symptoms. why dont yall go argue with lc.b and maybe he can say what I just said but you'll believe him.

but saying "my sisters cousins friend got vaccinated but still got covid" is explained by the simple things I just said but yall post it like some shocking revelation....

For administration that appears to be concerned about the spread of the Rona and getting people vaccinated, you would think they would turn back illegal immigrants who come from countries with very low vaccination rates. I think I read that most are well below 20%. I wonder how many variants make it across our southern border.

Bingo! The Democrats sure are bringing them in from Haiti, Mexico, etc, and turning them loose in Texas, by the bus loads.

In the UK, 60% of new covid cases are people that have been vaccinated. I stand a better chance of dying driving back and forth to work than from covid, I'll take my chances

and my wife just emailed that the VA is mandating the vaccine. that is where she works. she got vaccinated in december. her only beef is that they continue to mask inside the pharmacy and that bugs her when most are vaccinated.

I fear what the .gov is going to say in the press conference today. I, for one, expect a lot more pushback from the people if asked to mask indoors while vaccinated.

They pulled mask restrictions at my wife's pharmacy a while back. Not a VA though, your favorite, Walmart.
