Every other day of the trip was good. Here's a couple of pics from day one.

I will try to add a few more as I get them. First day we did well with mallards, blacks and Canada's. Day two we tried divers and could not get any over our spread. There were literally thousands out in the flats, we took a few blue bills. Our third day we limited on geese and came close on ducks (mostly mallards). We had a blast, the last day we hunted out of fields and the mallards just dropped right in.

Were you on the chesapeake, brackish waters? I'm not asking where you were hunting, I just wanna know what kind of water.

We hunted the North East/Perryville area river systems, Susquehenna flats and out of ag fields. All private accept for the flats.

Headed to the Eastern Shore Sat. for a week. Glad to hear a few birds are still hanging around; sorry to hear the poor report on the divers. Hopefully, the weather will cool off a little over the next few days.

I spent the early part of my life in MD and have develope a love for the Shore. I had the opportunity to return and try for some Canadas the week after Christmas for two days.

Day 1 we limited our part with 20, in an hour and 1/2.

Day 2 was a bit tougher, nearly 2 and 1/2.

It was truely everthing that I had envisioned it to be!!!

I am glad to read that you folks have had the opportunity to experince it too! I would love to make an annual excursion up there.

Headin' out to AR-KANSAS on Thursday. Comin' home on Monday. But from what I have been hearing, don't know if it is worth the ride. Luckly going with several friends with private land out in the NE part.

That's a nice area in MD. Personally, though, I prefer the Eastern Shore, less spooks and very nice and flat.
