Default Gun belts for OWB cayreee

Leaning toward a synthetic..like a Viking Tactics or a Blue Alpha. It's for a large frame semi-auto. Sooo many choices. I'm just looking for something to tote it around all day whilst walking in the woods. Thoughts or opinions? TIA

I have a few different ones 5.11, Hanks belts, etc. My leather Hanks has been holding strong for 3+ years. Wear it everyday whether it’s IWB, OWB, or no gun at all. This is the one i have https://www.hanksbelts.com/products/...led-carry-belt

I have this one. Has a thin strip of polymer running through it to minimize twisting and flexing from the weight of the holster. I wore it outdoor, daily, for about 2 years and in all kinds of weather, and it looks great. You can barely tell where the holster rode. The only thing someone may not like is the buckle on mine is pretty scratched up. It says in the description it’s solid brass, but mine has a gold-ish coating and wouldn’t look that great in a casual/office setting scuffed up like it is. But I also beat the hang out of it, constantly leaning and sliding around on all sorts of metal and what not. The one in the link looks more like brass, so maybe they changed. It’s about 10 years since I bought mine.

I have a Blue Alpha like the on in the first pic and it’s nice, but I haven’t used it a lot.

You ever carry a pistol much on your belt? I used to think like you but if you carry much you will see a difference.

I wear a Versa Carry Buffalo hide belt every day, but no matter what I hang off of it there’s no sag. Their holsters are simple but sturdy as well.

This is my everyday belt. https://www.truspec.com/accessories/...ly-range-belts

Works great for carry or not. It's just aggravating with some pants or shorts because it's 1-3/4". I usually just grab the leather one when I wear those, but 98% of the time it's the Truspec.

My leather carry belts are 1-1/2" double thickness. I'd recommend paying the little extra for the double. After wearing it a year or so every day the singles will start to sag a little.

I've had this one for years and it still looks brand new. The holes don't even show any wear. As for those who carry, but still use a regular belt. You really need to try a belt that is built for carry. It's much more comfortable.
