So, neither one wants to make it to the playoffs again? Texas won’t be able to dictate the terms in the SEC either.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

These program are more interest in the SEC money than opportunity to win more conference championships.

If this happens the Big10 will again go after Notre Dame which is where they wanted to go along along but the Big10 wouldn’t be walked over like the ACC… maybe ND finally is willing to join.

Be interested to see if Big 10 also goes northern ACC schools and where this would leave Clemson. Interesting to where this would leave schools like Miami, FSU, and Clemson which are historic programs but outside of Miami don’t have large national followings.

Clemson fits the SEC mold better than OU but doesn’t bring nearly the market.

    A lot of ifs…

Think we are seeing first move of a separation from NCAA. I think this may lead to super pac of maybe 20-25 eventually with their own crowned national champ...

there was a really good article a couple years ago about how streaming would most likely be the end of the college football conferences. And to that effect, the NCAA as well. The money that companies like netflix and amazon spend on content is stupid compared to what the sec is getting from cbs and their network

Some just want to be relevant and play ranked teams week in and week out.
Can't blame them for trying to better their situation and get off the welfare

If you don’t see the irony in this statement, as a UofSC fan, I can’t help you.

I'm hearing West Virginia has asked (behind closed doors) to join the ACC. One team has voiced strong opposition.

That WVU well has run dry.........but it beats not wanting to have App St or El Cid join the East.

Since you're holding history class, lest we forget about a 39 point loss when USC back-doored their way into ATL(that was two points worse than the Clemson debacle the following year) resulting in the most lopsided victory in the HISTORY of the SEC Championship game. A record that still stands today, with very little chance of ever being broken....

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

They should join the ACC. Only have one team to compete with over there.
