    Default Diving tragedy

Not looking good. A good friend of mines BIL and 3 other divers were spear fishing yesterday for snapper. End of dive, doing decompression just 15-20’ below surface. All 4 divers were okay. Signaled okay and proceeded to surface as a group.
Only 3 divers exited the water. No idea what happened. 4th just disappeared.
Im sure family and friends could use some prayers right now.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

That’s a tough one. Prayers sent and I hope there is a positive outcome.

I was told today they found his “tank, spear gun, and weight belt” on bottom of ocean no more than 200yds from last sighting.

Very weird and leaves a lot of unanswered questions.
Where is BCD, snorkel, fins, person, etc.

    Prayers up.

That is weird. Maybe he got winded in a current pulling him away from the boat. He ditched the weight belt, gun and tank to try and make the swim back to boat. If so he should be floating.

My brother was lost on the ocean for about 20 hours on a dive trip when I was younger. They tied their vests and wetsuits together and ditched the things you mentioned to stay a float.

    Hope they find him.

    Prayers sent.

Very sorry to hear. Sharks are on the same list as cancer to me

We have to many sharks. People from The Keys to Va talk of this...

That was my suspicion. Sad deal. Had 5 flounder get eaten by sharks the other day. They are opportunistic feeders for sure.

Damaged gear tells the story. Marine predator. Really? Can't say shark? The word shark now consumed by the cancel culture

That is terrible. You never know when you are going to run up on a bad one down there with blood in the water...

I love spearing but have never liked the stringer hanging by my leg with a bloody fish.
