    Default Dove Season 2021-22

There's not much prettier than 35 acres of chest high sunflowers in full bloom. I hope everyone's fields are doing well. I can't wait!

Total bust this year. I'm gonna start calling people I never talk to in late august to see how they've been.

Watching a hay field that hasn't been planted by the people who lease it........ May end up with some seed on it somehow.....
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

That's awesome, don't tell anyone. Can we insist on driving out there so we can have out gear? Coolers, umbrellas, dove decoy trees..

I’m sure you aren’t serious, but if by chance you are, you’re welcome up here any time we shoot

Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.

Ha, opening days should be fun, but turn into headaches..

Nice, which day? We are closing up Monday and Tuesday for an amateur qualifying. I'll be out there around noon on Wednesday, maybe Thursday.. well maybe the rest except for Friday.

Thursday or Friday is when I’m playing. It all depends on when I get my machine back.

Air the tires up on your bicycle and I'll put you on some birds no problem. Gonna need to be there early so you can get the best spots.
