I’ve caught them all over the Parking Lot and a few at Belkie over the years. I rarely go up there since I no longer trailer the boat though.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

There is a photo of my great grandfather in the book ‘Tales of Beaufort.’

On a dock in Port Royal holding up (2) 40-50lb snappers in the 1940s.
In background there is a pile of em behind him.

It’s mind boggling to me how commercial offshore fishing was so successful without gps and sonar.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I'd imagine the mortality rate from releasing fish is pretty high. Either from not releasing correctly or by sharks getting them.

    Absolutely....

Here's my pro tip to share with y'all...have a ziplock bag with your ceviche fixings ready to go. Filet an release right into the ziploc, 30-45 mins later your fresh snapper ceviche is ready

Decided to stay inshore, don't wanna chance it so we are going for flounder and trout instead. This means it will be dead calm out on the ocean since we made this call. The Parker rides good, but not that good.

Picks up every afternoon, a lot calmer than forecast this morning. May give it a peek in the AM.

If ya have a boat grill and catch em and eat em right on the spot in a
tin foil pack, seasonings and a few veggies in the foil pack.....
do they count toward your limit and do those eaten on the scene have to be
in a specific season? Asking for a friend

Season is what you put on the meat.

We stayed in, was down by Morris Island lighthouse and the wind was flat out honking! Caught several nice flounder, biggest right at 20". Went the opposite way towards Kiawah and caught some trout. Def glad we stayed in today.

Was snotty ride out, but not as bad as we thought, 20 out, 30 mph in. Fished in 100’

    3 ARS, 10-15lbers.
Kept an assortment of other critters, one legal cobia, 1 BSB, couple beeliners , couple triggers, and a rock hind.

Released several kings, a couple short cobia and a pile of bottom critters.
