and I agree about Messi. You wont see him take a dive! He is a joy to watch and just looks like the most unathletic person on the pitch...until he has the ball at his feet.
I just googled VAR. u have sucked me in. damn you.

One thing I have never understood is why soccer players are such cry baby drama queens. Anytime a player gets close to another player and contact is made regardless of how minimal, one of the players inevitably falls down and starts crying like he just got his leg chopped off. Flailing around and screaming like a little girl, writhing in “pain”. What’s the point, I’ve never understood it?

VAR is the video review for fouls and handballs and such

I am gonna smoke a 20lb brisket and watch soccer tomorrow and saturday.

I am sure these things are incredibly important to all of you....

The only consolation for the crappy call for a PK in extra time is the fact that England really did outplay the Danes for most of the game. Italy is going to have to play much, much better on Sunday to beat this English team.

hard to disagree. I would've called that foul in real time and I would hope I would change it if I saw the replay. VAR helps, but situations like this can be hard to overturn.

I wish ENG would've won a different way.

England is a bunch of kneeling BLM cowards.

You know, like every single sports team in America.

    Go Italy.

I noticed because it was the fourth time Raheem Sterling flopped in the box - he'd been trying to get that call for 60 of the 100 minutes - watch the own goal and look at the Raheem flop then..ugh. I have to keep reminding myself that the Danes really didn't earn the win either.
