    One more dumb question, because I don't read good. If the main line is 3/4'', would it still be beneficial to increase the pipe size I run to say 1.5'' or is it a wash?

    Listen to Tater and CU. Loss from the main to the meter through 3/4” pipe and meter is negligible to loss over that long run of pipe.
