I’m right there with you. Every time I get on a plane I pray the 400 pound guy doesn’t sit next me

Very true. Best single air travel experience for me?? Singapore Air. Slippers, Eyeshades, huge seat and legroom, drinks until you cry Uncle. Hot Asian flight attendants.. Fantastic service.

Singapore Airlines followed by Qantas. The flight attendants for Singapore Airlines walk through the airports in single file formation if that gives you any idea how much attention to detail they pay.

True that. Flew Swiss Air for 12 hours once in coach, they fed us 6 times and never quit serving drinks. Plenty of legroom and friendly staff.

Yessir. That shiny $50million Gulfstream your company owns is convenient, but when you have to fly long distance, you want to be on Emirates or one of the aforementioned carriers whose experience is a vacation unto itself...

I flew Lufthansa a few times years ago. They were pretty good, too.

    Speaking of airlines...

United Airlines early Tuesday announced a massive new airplane order that proved even bigger than rumored: firm contracts for 200 Boeing 737 MAXs, along with 70 Airbus A321neos.

The news is a huge boost for Boeing’s efforts to revive the MAX program, which suffered hundreds of order cancellations over the past couple of years.

It’s the largest single Boeing airplane order since American ordered 200 MAX planes in June 2011. American then was on the verge of giving Airbus an order for 460 A320neos, a damaging prospect for Boeing that abruptly forced the U.S. manufacturer to agree to launch the MAX so that it could split the order.

Tuesday’s deal bumps United’s total MAX order book to 380 jets, including previous orders for 180 MAXs, with 30 already delivered. The agreement also includes buying data packages for the airline’s Boeing 737 MAX training simulators to support its pilot training programs.

Shit no. My service is worse than Spirit. The plus side is all seats are window seats and emergency exits.

Funnily enough, I sah-mokkked an osprey right near BigBrother's river house at about 1500' a few weeks ago.

Scared the mud out of me. Didn't hurt the plane, though. Fish hawk got worked.

Here is where I start to justifiably get angry with the wife...

KLM/Lufthansa was fine, had I not been sandwiched between two obese americans on the way out, and on the way back in the midst of a group of Jesuit Missionaries who had not bathed in a month or two.
