Don’t be throwing truth bombs like that.

I have enough to get through this season even with my poor shooting.

My biggest problem is getting excited and rushing my shot, I see a much improvement in kill ratio when I consciously slow down. Mostly mental I know.

I'll drive to waste some shells. Promise I suck at shooting enough to keep the birds moving and just enough to work my dog! Lol

You've got more money in shotgun shells than most people have in their savings account.

Yes, I was at the Georgia state last weekend. Nice club and tournament. Some folks complained about targets being too difficult but that's the nature of big tournaments. Was in Kansas the week before for the US Open and will be in Virginia for their state championship this weekend.

When I'm at the tournaments, I buy all they allow me to buy. I've kept ahead of the curve so far. I have 8 Promatic traps behind my house and shoot almost every day I'm in town. Shells go quickly.

I'll be sure to let my buddy that helps Rick set targets know this. I'm sure the response will be something along the lines of, "Those mother ******* need to learn how to shoot".

Rick and his team didn't set very many of the events. Only 1 or if I remember correctly. Fitasc I believe. That event was won with a 93 which is relatively low when you compare to other big shoots. I didn't shoot Fitasc so I can't comment. Of the main event, the lake course gave up a 97 but the woods course only gave up a 92. It was horrendously windy Sunday so scores were impacted by the weather. I shot a 86 on the woods course Sunday but felt like I could have put up a 93/94 without the wind.

People will always complain when they don't shoot well. Big shoots are a whole different animal compared to a garden variety tournament course. Target setters want the top shots to earn a win. Leave your ego at home if you aren't on top of your game. I prefer tough targets.

    I laughed pretty hard.

I got plenty of 12. I am in desperate need of 20. I got some .556 I would trade for a case of bird shot.

Ha, yeah, it's kinda sad. I've got at least a case of 20 steel, and a couple cases of mixed 12 non toxic, then a few boxes of mixed up non toxic 16. Last year was the slowest year for myself in ducks, by a large margin
