Next time you want a bacon cheeseburger, and you have time to waste, smoke the burger and the bacon. You won't be disappointed.

With a sausage patty mixed in.

This time of year, cantaloupe should be on the breakfast table as well. Salt and pepper'd.

The little store in chappelles had the best bacon, egg and cheese when the Mr. Horne’s wife ran the kitchen. I asked her the bacon secret one day. She said she dropped it in a deep fryer.

I might be a yankee but I am with you all on the fact that most places don't have a clue how to cook grits. I absolutely hate grits that I can get around here. When I meet my buddy form SC his wife made up some grits and even though I always hated grits I was raised never to insult someone being hospitable to you so I sat down and ate the grits. Well to my surprise the grits cooked in the South are amazing and has truly ruined me on grit from anywhere else.

I will attest that Rebel Yell's liver pudding is the best I have had.

The first time I met RYs dad he was cooking it. I had a large dip in and holding a six finger neat single malt. He looked at me like I had on a skirt when he offered me a chunk. "You can't eat with a dip in".. I can, but I wanted to get the full experience, haha. I swear him and a guy named Bruce that JAB, myself, and some of us around grew up with had to be separated by birth. I redeemed myself a few years back shooting birds next to him. Not gonna lie it was a proud moment when he yelled over about my shooting

Proper grits need to be cooked and stirred for a few hours. Stone ground yeller. Oh i like crispy bacon and i like my steak with salt, pepper, and a tad bit of garlic powder. RARE. I had liver mush once at louise's rock house in Linville. It wasn't bad but winningham's liver puddin is the best. Period.

I’ll eat bacon any way it’s set before me

Stack the Oreos in a coffee mug all the way to the top and then pour the milk in, let’em soak for about 30 seconds.

Ain't yellow grits the kind that already has the cheese flavoring in it or is that the butter flavor?
