Not as bad as a limit on blue catfish.

My favorite smallmouth lake was a tiny little power lake that you could lap the entire thing in a night's fishing. The tourneybillies only put it on their schedule one night a year, winner maybe won $400. Think that stopped them?

Its hard for me to imagine caring enough to transport live fish from one lake to another.

I don’t mind catching big spotted bass but I’m no bass fisherman.

I've never caught or even seen a spotted bass.

Keep that crap on the other side of the state.

Regardless, I don't think it is wise to have a stack of dead fish on display at the scales.

I agree, if they’re spots they should have been set on fire.

When I was fishing jackpot derbys there was always someone with a cooler by the scales for dead ones.

Give it time. Just like the invasive blue catfish, you will start to see limits and protection for it.
