    Default 7mm 08 ammo

What in the f*$%??? I would sharpen a stick to hunt with before I paid that for 20 rounds of off the shelf ammo.

I’ve found prices quoted on places like ammoseek to be double to triple whatI’ve been able to find in nearby retail stores.

Hot dang, I got about 600rnds of 7mm08 loaded.

    What’s .243, .308, .300wm and ‘06 going for?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Looks like green acres could make cheaper than dirt blush and shake their h ad in embarrassment.

Controlling ammo supply is the easiest way for the government to implement gun control.

Hoarding ammo and whipping people into a frenzy about the coming apocalypse de jour lets scalpers like this sell ammo at these prices. I'll pay a little extra, but at these prices, they can choke on them for all I care.

This is why you save brass and buy supplies in bulk when they are available. Then load and store your own.

I've saved just about every piece of rifle brass from every bullet fired in the last 40+ years. Guess one of these days I ought to consider reloading.

Hunters, Fishermen and Outdoors enthusiasts normally tend to be self sufficient type of folks. I can’t understand why in the times we are living in and have been in for a while, that folks continue to be slaves to the ammo supply chain instead of learning to handload. Sure, now is not as good of a time to start as was 3 years ago but in a year from now folks may regret waiting. Components are scarce but they are occasionally available. Cost savings is really the least important reason for hand loading. Tailor made ammo for your gun and a good supply of it are premium reasons. If anyone would like to learn, I am sure there would be plenty of folks on here who would be willing to help. I certainly would.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
