    Default Kayaking in Congaree Swamp

I bought me and son 2 kayak's to piddle with this summer. Looking for a good public float in the Congaree Swamp. Are there any public spots off Bluff Road near monument to put in and get back out? Thanks.

Yes. They have a map showing the places you can drop in and paddle.

I'm headed down the Saluda the 26th of this month behind lake Greenwood. I usually do very well this time of year. Come on out and I can put you on some fish.

Thank you. Wonder how long of a trip it would be from Canoe entry to Canoe exit on that map?

Just be careful out there Heath. Fish are slam full of Fluoride in that area. Can only eat 2lb per week or some such. Carry on.

You can eat all the fish you want, but your balls will shrivel up and you will have a desire to play futbol.

Duke as part of their re-licensing agreement is building a world class kayak landing in Greatfalls. I have some property there will have cabins and rentals soon then not too far away is Carolina Adventure World ATV park. Between, the Whitewater Center in Charlotte, Lansford Canal and this we will be a kayaking meca. I am so looking forward to all the Subarus with kayaks on top and the clash of yuppies in that town. I have a friend that is going try AirBnB on mill houses. Imagine the surprise when they pull up from Asheville and the neighboring house has a pit on a chain.

Just don't park in front of the iron gate beside the log cabin on the hill it is there for a reason.

Hopefully his plan begins with a bulldozer. Fort Lawn my benefit with winery opening up the road. But Rockhill is attracting yuppies downtown.

We did a bunch mission work in GF, it was a challenge. Granted they don't have the drive bys the surrounding counties. Meth and opioids are more of a problem. Many of kids love basketball ball and they produce some good teams.

Just looking to drown a cricket and a few Natty Lights with the boy. We're fairweather kayaker's! LOL. I will be ready for a baseball break and enjoy a peaceful river float in the near future.

We put in a couple of weeks ago at Cedar Creek off South Cedar Creek Rd... the water was low, but it was a pretty paddle. A few people were fishing off the banks. It was small water.

That Cedar Creek trip looks like it'd be great for a 2 man canoe with the kids.
