I get this...I really do. Maybe your perspective is far different from most, but it sure seems a lot of people want this to be horrible...and I dont know why. You certainly cant think that every case is similar to yours or that people are guilty before trial?
No need to want, it IS horrible, from beginning to now. And exactly who are we looking for justice for? The father who lost his daughter, the father and husband who lost his wife and son, Walmart,, the railroad? In the end, everyone will get what they deserve, including anyone who might cover something up.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

The last few minutes before the boat crash sounds horrifying per the depositions.

It would've been an interesting FBUI trial. My understanding is there was no field sobriety test given, data master administered or blood drawn for criminal purposes. Basically no scientific evidence of impairment.

You may have added an extra . or two, but SLED's mission isn't releasing evidence before trial. Their mission is investigating incidents to gather evidence FOR trial if one is warranted...

I was not slamming SLED just relaying no news yet. Obviously, they will not jeopardize a high profile case and they have stopped the leaks.

What they didn't say may be more revealing.

SLED is tight with the solicitors' offices. Nothing will ever come out about this.

The boy was not even in the civil case. Per reports mediation failed because the family would not reveal net worth.

So, am I correct in assuming that all y’all who are saying nothing is going to come from this are convinced that the Murdaughs killed their own family?

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if this turns into a “cold case” as far the public would ever know. Wouldn’t surprise me either if the elder Murdaugh asked his son as a dying wish to clean up the family mess the son created, or turnabout is fair play and someone has the upper hand in covering up stuff. Regardless, it’s a very sad situation, that the truth may never see the light of day.
