Default What type of semi auto 12 ga for decent price

Son in Law called me other day, he is wanting to buy a decent 12 ga semi auto shotgun

Looking to keep his budget under $700 or so

Young man is like my 2nd son and is interested in shooting skeet and dove hunting with me, he has never hunted in his life but has shot skeet as well as AR’s and pistols

He has even talked to me about starting bow hunting for deer, has a nice 45 acre tract of land he and daughter live on and has plenty of deer and hogs

New little girl so he is trying to stay in a decent budget, I have not bought a new shotgun in years . I have offered for him to use anything I have but he wants his own

Someone mentioned Franchi ?? Do not know anything about them at all

He is not opposed to a pump action but preferred a semi auto

He can get a Remington v3 for about that. Been shooting one for a few years now. Zero problems.

Aluminum receiver that'll never rust, RemChoke threads in the barrel. Good gun.
