    Default Tower Stands

I'm in the market for two (two person) freestanding tower stands. I've looked at X-stand but their double isn't but 12' at the rail. I've also left a message with CB's in North Augusta. What else should I look at? Would really prefer something in the 14' - 16' range.

CB's are really nice. I would think now is the time to get a few.

Fishsticker - for some reason two of these threads posted. I deleted the other after your message posted.

Yes - looking for metal platform, quad or tripod, preferably with roof.

CB's and be cautious of the trees in the driveway, if you pickup.

The Hollywood hardware store sells a box stand with different size bases, waterproof roof, camo heavy fabric enclosure, shooting windows on all sides. and tie down kit.
Top box section is the same with either a 5', 10', or 15' base. I bought one with the 10' base, it's been outdoors 3 seasons with only zip tie change out. Shooting rail height is between 13-14' and you can stand up inside it. Perfect for taking kids.
I installed mine by myself- no help- in under 30 minutes. $500 when I bought it.
I will post a pic shortly

Hollywood hardware will not be stocking those stands this year, taking orders and payments, then the stands will be in 3-4 weeks afterward. Prices have risen like everything else.

10' base with 2 man stand on top gives you a shooting height of 13-14' is $750
15' base with same top gives a shooting height of 18-19' $875

I'm going by my club on the way home and will get pics if the raain quits

Call Sportsmans one stop in Iva. They have a pile of them at the store. Not sure of brand but some definitely in the height range you're looking for if I remember right.

We’ve made some nice tower stands out of warehouse storage racks in the past, if you can get your hands on some.

What swampcat mentioned, I’m going right by sportsman’s one stop about every other day right now and will be for a while. I can get you some pics and prices if you want them

Post up some info on the stands there. If you get a chance
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965
