    Default Broadcasting small seed

I need to broadcast some joint vetch which is really small.
Usually in the fall I mix small seeds with wheat. My thoughts are not to use sand again I didn’t really like it. I was thinking about maybe grits or rice.
What say the geniuses on here?

If you can do it by hand, the little hand held grass spreader.

I’ve never been brave enough to spread in anything bigger. Mainly because that shit is expensive and I’m a peasant.

Yeah I have a Earthway hand spreader, but this is the first time doing small seeds when I don’t want to mix them with wheat.

Speaking of how late do you guys plant your vetch? The new arrival has seriously put a damper in my property work but it was expected.
