What's the lowdown on Beretta 303s? My old man won a DU version back in the early 90s and it's been sitting in the box ever since. I think it's probably worth less since it's a DU model instead of plain. Have considered dipping it and rolling with it, but the wood is pretty.

The 303 is a great auto, easier to clean than a 391

Keep the 303 as is. Don’t dip it.

Steven’s 555 is what you both need. Bought one last year and never even took the 870 20 out of the safe this spring.

Ralph, I'm a little disappointed in the shoe organization skilz.....Thought you would have them sorted by color a little better brother!

Imelda Marcos would be impressed by that cleat collection HS. Looks like a rack of rental Bowling shoes. Nice Berettas.

Don't underestimate the value of having two chokes, especially for sub-gauge turkey. You can have a bullet-tight, super full choke for the longer stuff and a M or light modified in case one gets in too close.

Haha, I do most everything on here a some form of a joke.. but I don't pose. My built in safe is right near it, I'm not walking out of two rooms holding a few shotguns and telling my wife and kids I'm doing it because of the internet. Scott, I just don't have any ocd tendencies.. ha

But the pic was to show something, Benelli has never made anything as pretty as a 391.. or as smooth

Any man with that many pairs of shoes can easily handle the complexity of two chokes.

My favorite Berettas made...have one in 12 and 20, along with a rather large cast of 390s. The only difference in the 303 and the 390/391 series is the availability of shims, ability to shoot magnum loads without changing barrels, and an upgraded(read more pain in the ass to clean) gas valve. If you can find a 303 with the Mobil choked barrel, buy it.

I think I'd catch some grief toting this out into the field.
