BoBo nabbed his first cherry mater yesterday.

He's like a damn'd baby scientist searching those vines every day for a snack. He'll get his first squash today, I'm sure.

This is my first time being able to grow corn because I finally have the land to do it. I’ve battled squirrels digging up the sprouts, but I think I’ve finally got them under control. My only problem is I haven’t ran water to that area yet so I’m relying on rain which it’s only came once since I planted it may 10th. It’s only about 10 inches tall. I just added some 10-10-10. I have no idea if I’m doing it right or not lol. I’m just now getting rain today. I guess I’ll see.

Oh and I have to areas with box gardens. 10 5x5 total. They are producing very well with cucumbers, zucchini, green beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers, tomatoes, celery, butternuts, and my okra is finally producing flowers. I think my bee hive is helping a lot. There’s not a time I go in the garden and it’s not covered in my honey bees. I’m fairly new to this garden thing but I’m digging it!

    Big week here.

Lots of squash and peppers. Cukes and maters getting close.

Silks showing big on the corn.

    Collards need thinning.

Okra, beans, and peas won't be long now.

    Welcome to summer, boys!

I spoke to my Gardener the other day to check on things. Per usual I'm really only interested in sweet corn then he told me it should be prom around the week of June 20th. There's also some Kentucky Wonders, and some cantaloupes.

I planted some butternuts this time just for giggles. Those things have completely taken over a portion of my garden. I have probably 30 or so that have taken on the gourd shape. I'm not 100 percent sure when to pick them. Do any of yall plant them?
