    Default Chestnut leaves?

A few years ago I planted four Chestnut trees in my yard. Over the past two years I've noticed that something keeps stripping the leaves off of the top 3ft of two of the trees. They aren't being eaten little by little, they are just disappearing. I wonder what would do this? Birds? Squirrels?

I will post some pics later.

Agreed. Shoulder mounts are not the way to go. They do make excellent hall rugs though.

Horse meat starts to turn after a week or so.
