    The $300/per kid stimulus proposed that would last until 2025 isn't going to help matters either.

    Ocean freight is up 55% since feb. Overseas airfreight is out of this world for 5000# valve bodies. Plastic resins are going through the roof...PTFE, PFA, polypropylene, kynar, etc.

    I’ve got containers of valves that have been waiting to go into port in LA for 8 weeks. By the time it’s gets in and off loaded there will have been a 12 week delay at the port.

    Plant outage dates are moving and getting delayed and projects are getting out in hold left and right.

    I heard today that PVC pipe is non existent.

    We are installing a special type of vinyl sheet pile for a bulkhead right now- I received 1 more than needed when the order shipped( usually get 5% extra ) next available piece is minimum 22 weeks from order and payment.

    It is crazy. Had to get some 6" for transformer primary the other day and it was $120.00 a 10' stick. Hell 3/4" is $8.50 a stick now.
