Default Vet Office Recommendation - Columbia

Who do you use? I'd prefer close to Forest Acres. Thanks

I used Ambassador Animal Hospital when I lived there. That’s who my parents and brother have all used as well. It’s a husband and wife group. I always liked them.

You happen to have this for Lexington? Not to hijack the thread but happen to have the need today as well

From my recollection they were the top dollar. Because cost is an indication of good care and all

I was happy with them too when I used to use them. My mutt would lock down an have to be dragged through the doorway every time though. Just for full disclosure

When my sister lived over there for a bit, she worked at Shandon Woods. I'm not sure if Dr Atkinson is still over there, but I liked him, his son as well.

another vote for shandon wood. I've also hear the "they are expensive" talk. They are the most/least expensive vet I have ever used. I'd give Dr Atkinson whatever he charges bc he cares about my dog.

All previously mentioned are good clinics. I find most are and very few fall under the category of I would not take my dog there.

I drive to Kingstree for the yearly shots and what not. The price difference is worth the drive.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

It's a bit out of your way, but I've been taking mine to Sunset in West Columbia for years and have been pleased.

To Everlast, Millcreek is the best over here imho. Reasonable and trustworthy.
