I guess it's time for me to let it out. I've bottled it up long enough. I guess more so because I'm not the type for that kind of "recognition"

My wife is awesome and a hell of a lot tougher than I will ever be.

November 2019, a lump was discovered on her breast. Monday before Thanksgiving she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It's the less known of the three types of breast cancer. Apparently it doesn't respond to treatment and very aggressive with a high reoccurence rate. To the day I'll NEVER forget setting my daughter down and telling her.

Decemeber she starts Red Devil Chemo. After those, regular chemo.

Covid hits March. From March on she's all alone. late April ish early May she has double mastectomy. While in there a lymph node was swollen. It with others are removed. Pathology shows chemo did not kill or shrinken the tumor. Shes graded as stage 3 because its in the lymph nodes.

She catches Cdiff from the hospital. They can't figure it out. 3 trips to ER and they figure out she has Cdiff. Her body wouldn't fight it off. She beat it.

Insurance fights us tooth and nail for not paying for Radiation. Radiation is severly delayed, they finally agreed.

After all the radiation she is on a chemo pill.

March 19th 2021 she took her last pill and blood work came back excellent.

May 3rd a nagging pain started in her breast area. CT scan done May 13th. Results show suspicious activity near/on lung.

Today May 19th she had a PET scan.

We have to wait for the results, but pray and pray she's not lit up red anywhere...

So here we are. Thank you for all the prayers, text, calls, etc. I've told her or showed her every single text. People that don't even know her praying.

I've been on this site since 2002, I've met a lot of you and all in all we are like a family. I know some on here probably could care less for me and that's ok, but no one deserves this dreaded ass disease, so again thank you for the prayers. She's only broke down one time and kept an amazing attitude the entire time and will continue to do so. She has a girl she will see graduate and start a life. I feel certain....
