Default Anybody on Wateree or lower Murray...

have a dock that I can tie a 23' CC up to for a day or so? I need to do some trailer repair and it will be easier if the boat is not on it.

    Thanks in advance.
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

Call the guy who owns the store at Clearwater. He's a former Clemson football player. He's got boat slips.

    Stacey. That's easy docking.

I'd tell you my place, but you wouldn't want to, it's on the widest stretch.. it'll either beat the boat to death, or sink it if you're beached and weather comes up.

You've got Wateree Marina up there, but even if they have a slip they'll probably charge you by the month. I haven't seen the dock on Dutchmans for a bit, and don't know who owns it.. but that might be a shot. It's on y'alls side.

Man you can probably bring it to my in laws in Ballentine if that works. Just let me know and I'll ask. Heck we can even work on it in their shop.

A lot of marinas have "work racks" that they may let you set it on for a couple of days...for a fee, of course.

This post reminds me of a time when I was about 5 and pops had a load of lumber dropped off at our house and I asked dad what you gonna with all this wood. He said well I got a group of friends coming over from Michelin after work and they are gonna help me put this garage together. Its a shame the world doesn't work like this for most anymore.
