As an instructor, I see some things that give me pause.... I have to train on weapon retention now? If I do this right, the way we do in law enforcement, somebody will possibly get hurt. And what the hell do they want me to teach about "cocked and locked"?

I am guessing that IdentoGo will continue to do the fingerprinting and processing, and that SLED will have to pay them, and that's why they want the budget line. In their defense, that makes sense. IdentoGo is the same place you go for TSA Pre-Check and Global Express processing.

I don’t understand your question about teaching cocked and locked? You carry any Glock, Sigs, and 1911s that way concealed if you want to?

I’d bet we still need a CWP to carry in other States.

I'm curious to see how many law abiding citizens will get shot by default now that guns will be strapped on every Tom Dick and Harry?

Just thought it was odd that they specifically added that as a training requirement in this bill...

I got prints done in cwp class. I'm guessing not all instructors do it all?

There are a lot of folks that I'd rather not know that they have a gun.

Might be able to make an educated guess by looking up the statistics from the 45 other states that allow open carry.

Now I got to go out and buy an open carry gun to compliment my concealed carry one.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Open carry is allowed in 45 of 50 states. Do you think SC can't be as responsible as the others? Nothing will change after this passes.

No one thinks places you have always carried will now have signs prohibiting? I think so. Maybe I am wrong.

Maybe. I'll just continue to ignore the signs.
