    Default Natural gas pool heater?

Anyone got experience with these? I've been looking at these to get a few more months of use from our pool. We have NG piped to the house but my concern is the line from the road isn't big enough. Internal piping isn't a major issue as it can easily changed.

Been looking at the specs online for Pentair and such but can't seem to identify for sure what the diameter of the gas line feeding into the heater needs to be. We only have 2 appliances on NG now: the gas logs and a tankless water heater upstairs. Had to upgrade all the internal piping when we installed the tankless last year as it needed a 3/4" line and the old tank heater only required 1/2".

Figured someone might have some first hand knowledge with this and doesn't mind sharing.

    Thanks in advance.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

It's more so gas pressure than volume. Btu's are what you need to be concerned with

Bro, it’s Scumpter. Copper tubing and a burn barrel is all you need.

    Gotcha.

Not looking to keep the pool 80° in December necessarily, just want to knock the chill off in March/April and Sept/Oct kinda months where it's 80 outside but the water is 70.

Been looking at BTUs and what I go with may very well be determined by how much infrastructure work would be required to accommodate the unit of choice.

That's the kinda stuff I'm trying to figure out.
