BIG Titties and lots of them

[Bad Habit]

My son and I went brimpin on the Cooper River today- went through 2 tubes of crickets in 6 hours- he kept a limit of big titty bream- all over 1 lb, I kept my MIL 20 hand sized brim just like she likes them. Couldn't tell you how many fish we caught and threw back including big assed copperheads, shellcrackers and bass.

Fish were not on beds but suspended under water hyacinths- we fished about 4' deep in 11-15 feet. Had to drop it on the very grass edge to get bit.


On another note- there was a bass tourney out of Cypress Gardens landing today- I have fished hundreds of tourneys and know how they are supposed to be done. This was the biggest bunch of douchbags I have ever seen at a landing- the only club name I saw was Shaw bassers.
Blocked every foot of dock and bank and had guys sitting in tied off boats waiting on their partner to bring the truck- like a bunch of boat bitches.
Yes words were exchanged with one of the boat bitches when I walked across his tied up boat to go get my truck.

It's something we have done for decades- I like throw beetle spins for them but it was too windy-and one of my favorite ways to fish a glow popper at night on a flyrod
