Default Anyone ever played Augusta National ??

Curious if anyone here has ever had the pleasure of playing a round at Augusta National

Have one client, older gentleman, that played a lot of Sr events. He got to play 1 tx there years ago.

Love when he comes in and tells me about it.

Did tell me that if the caddie tells you to put opposite direction of the hole you better listen. Said those are some of the toughest greens he has ever tried to read

Judging by the responses they must have similar rules as fight club.

I came close years ago, but it didn’t pan out. Will have to keep it on my bucket list for the next time around.

I have played Pine Valley 5-6 times. It’s up in (Southern) NJ, and may be an even more exclusive golf club, but much less known.

I’ve done a lot of work there but never played. Upgraded their irrigation pump station controls a couple of years ago.

Berkmans is good, but they don't have the Carl Spackler hybrid grass. I enjoy playing 36 holes on it then taking some home and getting stoned to bejesus

I think Palmetto Pride may have shot a sub-par round there...

Kidding, I've played with him during the period of time I cared not to play. It's surprising how many connections you can make on here dating back to junior golf.

Back in college I had a few friends that majored in HRTM. They got to work at the Masters concessions/dinners. From what I remember if you worked the event, they let you play the week after the tournament.

Week after is members then the following is for workers. My boss got to play because his daughter was dating one of the workers. Said they rush you through. Played 18 under 2 hours. No looking for lost balls drop one and go.

Yep, I tried to caddie for one of the workers the week after.. I was told "no".

I supplied the correspondences out there for years with a couple caterers.. half worked them just to walk around.
