Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
There's a 2870 Offshore for sale named One Wolf I think? Met the guy several years back, as he was slipped beside us at Sailfish on Singer Island...he spared no expense on the refit. Has fresh 300 Suzukis on it.
ETA: can't find the listing anymore, must have sold

CC, Offshore, or WA??
Had a 2870 Offshore CC back in the late 90s, early 2000s...put over 1k hours on it in 3.5 years. Probly 40 trips to Bahama in it...great boat.
Try Mid Carolina Marine in Columbia

I had a 2001 Pursuit 3070 Offshore, great boat, very well built. I wouldn't hesitate to get another Pursuit.
I saw a 3070 recently

As someone who has owned both a 2870 and a 3070, the 30 is CONSIDERABLY larger than just the 2' in length. 9' vs 10.5' beam, tremendous cockpit and holds 340 gallons. She weighed in at over 16k on the slings. I had a trailer for her but only for haulout purposes. Mine was an 06, twin 250s and she would see 1.5 cruising at 32-33kts. There are alot of them out there from early 2000s with 225s since the 250s didn't hit the market til '05....500 hp is the absolute minimum on this hull. I sea trialed one with 450 and it felt like it was severely underpowered.
The 2870 is still very trailerable, the 3070 crosses the proverbial line in the sand and need to be in the water, IMO.
Holler if you have any questions between the two...be happy to share my experiences with you.

I’m going to meet him and walk around on it at 3pm.
I’ll pm you, I’m sure I’ll have a pile of questions.
Thanks FS.

There's a brand new S288 sitting at the marina where I keep my boat. I can't stop looking at it.
