A vote is like a rifle: its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.

Just look at the legendary '83 draft. Marino, Elway, Kelly are HOF'ers. Then there's Blackledge, Eason, O'Brien. All first rounders.

Okay then Alex Smith cancels out Rodgers.
Everyone uses a different metrics but the past decades have produced a boat load of Super Bowl Champions.

The point Im making is if you take 10 qbs drafted in the first round, and 10 that were drafted in later rounds, the percentage of picks in the first round that have significant success, from a quantity standpoint will always be higher. Sure there are busts, but all in all those guys taken in the first round work out at a much higher percentage than those in the later rounds. For every one Tom Brady, you have 50 Brian Hoyer or Jake Lutons.

"They are who we thought they were"
You can dress a fat chick up, but you cant fix stupid
The reason the later drafted QB's, RB's etc tend to do better is because they get picked by better teams with better O'lines. The first picks go to the shittiest teams. A good O'line will make a shitty QB or RB look great. A shitty O'line will make a great QB, RB look shitty too.
I think Trevor will do just fine. With the ability to read defensive plays will help him tremendously. Now who knows if the jags can stop anyone. There is a reason he was projected 1st pick in the draft out of high school.

"I'm just a victim of a circumstance"
They will all do well. They have gotten paid.
Now, what's all this nonsense about O lines, receivers, and better teams. There's a cap that will vary yoy dependent upon the general. Watch what happens in NE> Jacksonville. Belli may give Urban that stroke he's been faking. Keep in mind, there always has and will always be that talent gap based on desire to spend to win. The Houston story- Patriots - the Tampa , Seattle, and KC of the past and present.
It's all about the money.

Honestly I always thought he would be a good one but guess I was wrong
As for the others I still think Jones is in the right situation
Honestly hate to be in TL shoes, the whole world expects him to turn that entire organization around. Tough job , not sure Brady could help them but he did make a difference this year in Tampa Bay
And he’s getting paid for those expectations.
