Going down I95 from SC to Islamorada- where do we get on the turnpike and where do we get off- going to pre purchase the sunpass.
    Thanks for the help.

Most anyplace sells them. I’ve never gotten one. Just get a bill in the mail a month or two later. That may have changed, I haven’t driven there in maybe 3 years.

Don’t waste your money. Pay the few manned toll boths. Most are toll by plate and since we don’t register trailers in SC I’ve never been billed. The cameras can’t get your truck license plate while pulling a boat. Get on in Ft. Pierce and get off in Florida City. I’ve trailered down almost every year since 2011 and have never gotten a bill. Drove down last October without the boat and stayed at Chica and got a bill.

95 to 595 to Turnpike. You can get a sunpass at any turnpike service plaza or publix.

My 2 cents.... dont buy it for 1 trip. They have toll-by-plate. It aint worth fooling with. It will actually cost you more to buy the sunpass than money you will save.

Shit I’ll take the leisure ride on the turnpike over 95 any day especially pulling a boat. Service plazas are easy in and out for gas or food. Pulling a boat to the keys for a week and you’re worried about a few extra toll bucks each way.

You can get the Sunpass at the rest areas in the vending machines.

Same. Just got back. Already booking one for October. The problem is that quite a bit of the flights are already sold out.

Take it for what it’s worth, When I lived in Marathon and would come home. I would always get on turnpike At Jupiter. I believe it’s exit 362 off 95 south. And I believe it’s exit 129 on the turnpike coming home.

    Truth.

Travel at night. Sunrise in Miami is the time too arrive.
