    That looks fun! You might coulda just hinged the hit zone at the top so it just flops back down.

    So what bullets are you shooting at this? Can you shoot all copper like Barnes or GMXs at something like this? Ricochets??

    The deer is 1/2” AR500 and the flapper is 3/8” AR500.

    I haven’t shot it yet; will report on the Barnes.

    You'll be fine with any bullets past 100yds. Looks fun, I thought about making one for Clinton but just ain't got a round tuit.

    I like it. I suspect the springs will be fooked after a short time, but I dont have one. You can re-hinge it then if it does.

    I shot a “Steel Safari” style match once that had a similar target, along with coyotes, prairie dogs and pig silhouettes. It was a ton of fun.
    FWIW that hinge will eventually fail. When it does put it at the top and let gravity do the work.

    So I need a special steel to actually shoot at instead of what I have laying around
