You Horry County folk need to lean on Rankin. If the NRA had not been in shambles and dropped money in the primary Luke would have lost even with the dirty politics.

Luke Rankin needs to be kicked in the scrotum, I can’t think of one decent thing to say about him.

I imagine, the CC bill in his committee will require a floor vote to recall from committee as happened in 2019. Unfortunately they were not able to overcome the threat of a filabuster on the senate floor. They have replaced three of the no votes with three republicans. This is possible if enough pressure is exerted. Work your senators!

Blah blah blah. Who really cares what the state says? The state house is full of thieves, whores and idiots. The constitution, as it is written is the law. Mans government can go straight to Hell.

Even though she will not vote for CC the more they get pestered the less they oppose.

Email, write to her business address, to statehouse address, call...

The house is supposed to be the political body "closest to the people." That means we are very reactive to current events.

The senate is supposed to be more deliberative, they slow things down.

The result is many bills pass the house but not the senate.

They allowed too much control by just one senator. The threat of the filibuster was all that was needed to stop a bill. There was a coalition of all democrats and a few republicans who would never vote to kill a filibuster. That stopped any controversial bill.

This year they have enough conservatives who will force a vote. You must make it happen.

Serious question...Do House Reps have relationships with Senators? I ask this wondering if it would be more effective using peer pressure, whether it be personal conversations or calling them out publicly. Why not take what you’re saying here and deliver that message to a much larger audience?

If Lankin does not bring the bill he will lose in 2024.

Shane Massey wants CC. 30 Reps, 16 Dems now I suspect it will pass. If not the Reps will pickup more seats. Several states passed CC this year. With gun and ammo shortage folks are focused on gun rights now.

The house is to the senate as USuC is to the SEC.

The Senate took up the decoy bill. CC is most likely done. Jay Lucas and Rankin needs to go.

The NRA said they would not rate this bill.

Remember Bobby Cox pulled his amendment after discussion with House leadership.

In short they running through a bait and switch bill. You are still taxed and fingerprinted to open car. CC drop all those infringements on the 2nd. Several states passed this year just not SC.

Thank Jay Lucas, Bob Cox, Luke Rankin, NRA, SLED and SC Sheriff Association and police chiefs for killing the bill along with any House member that voted against the amendment for CC.

    Duct tape did his part.
