Well today was kinda sucky, sloppy goin out and nasty coming in. Limits of beliners and some nice blacks.

7-8 ft great white pup came right up to the boat and took a fish and then turned around and got the weight. Really cool to see.

Agreed. We lost a rod on the way back in. Bunjee dry rot. Managed to fill the box with merkins though. Beliners are for beDorks.

So the real question is, with 177 boats fishing the series, is it like bumper cars on the ledge this year?

They missed that’s forecast early. Buoyweather was the only one that was right 2-3 @ 4-5 seconds.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Beautiful ride in yesterday, the ride out and until lunch were another story entirely... blackin were everywhere just south of GTH.

Caught 5, one that will push 50 on the scales this AM. The smallest one went about 15 pounds and inhaled a Projet. For perspective,, that lure was about 2/3 the length of the fish and as big around to boot.

And yes, boats were everywhere on the ledge yesterday....

Figured, miss it but glad I sat that cluster out. Between Florida and here with all these tournaments, only a matter of time before they knock the wahoo limit down.

Nossir...We declared for the Wahoo series yesterday. Just making a statement that BF were up top everywhere from 130' to 300' yesterday...hard to throw a popper with an 80 at 16 kts. Buddy who was slow trolling for wahoo yesterday put 10 BF in the box by lunch when we buzzed by him. Have not yet followed up to see how he finished the day out.

They are talking about a 6 per boat limit on wahoo, dropping dolphin to 30/boat.
