    Default Yamaha outboards

Don't waste your time ordering a boat with Yamahas or re-powering with one.

My tier 1 boat has turned into a tear.

Uh oh, sorry you’re having trouble.

You’re one of the few that have trouble out of Yamaha.

I have had more trouble with my yamis than I ever did with American motors

My trouble is they are backordered with no end to the problem in sight. My boat is sprayed and put to the side waiting on motors. I sold my 28. I have a condo rented for May. Yami must still have the China virus.

Mine has been moved from Jan to April. Tailwalker acts like they are not aware of the shortage.

I have twin Yami 425's planned.

400 Mercs would save me $20,000 and are more available. Can you trust them?

All outboard manufacturers are way behind right now, way behind. Increased demand and decreased production has created the perfect storm. Good news is a factory rigged new boat will get preference over a repower for sure, heard 8-12 months from my local Yamaha dealer.

Well it sounds like I better cancel my Georgetown condo and forget June in the keys.

My third new Sportsman and this is my reward...

I am getting old and won't be able to take the offshore beating much longer.

A buddy said he called looking FOR a 250hp. The dealer laughed at him. Oh and Mercs are #1 on the water...when they are in the water and not in the shop.

They’ve got they’re act together nowadays and are putting out a good product. Having good Service is the important part nowadays.

Hard to imagine supply issues with anything these days. Wonder what gives?

Look at Suzuki. From what I read, it's the best 4stroke on the market right now.

Service and parts are an issue on Suzuki’s. Not very many shops in the low country carry or work on them and the few that do only a few would be considered reputable or reliable.

DT if you can get the Mercury, go for it. They’re gaining a bigger foothold these days. Those V8 400’s and 450’s are supposed to be great engines and weigh a lot less than the 425’s.

A local dealer here has dozens of sold boats sitting on the lot waiting on Yamahas

I think there are enough dealers to support getting Suzuki motors on it. Where do you normally run out of?
