Default 78 million acre oil leases cancelled

    NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

This was supposed to be the day that the Bureau of Energy was going to bid out leases on 78,000,000 acres of ocean bottom off the Louisiana coast, but the Biden administration has canceled new offshore leases.

I am sure that First Secretary Castro of Cuba will have no problem leasing adjacent ground to the Chinese for slant drilling though...

*Slant drilling is an industry term, not an aspersion...

That shouldn't move the price of fuel. If it goes up, it will be an increase in demand. If fact, we can stop all domestic oil drilling and the media would still attribute any increase in the price as gas to and increase in demand.
