There’s a legit taco truck in Boone, his tacos look like those.

He makes a mean tamale too. I love a good tamale.

We worked at the shop today breaking metal and cleaning up with all the rain and stuff. One of the guys wife sent him a bunch of tripe tacos with homemade corn tortillas and homemade salsa, like the dark purpleish salsa that stays in the container when you turn It upside down. After hours there were many modelos and salsa tortillas consumed. Those guys make me look like an amateur. They always make fun of me when I break the container of Gordos queso blanco out of the fridge. Gringo and gabacho are thrown around frequently. Those guys know how to work but they know how to chill even more

Ever in goose creek hit up Cocina de Lucy and there is another taco truck not far from it on the right side going into the weapons station.

Two of the best taco joints I’ve found down here. The taco truck torta is unreal.

Man you're right about the sweet tea. Every time it is right on time. We eat Mexican every Sunday after church. I could probably eat it 2-3 times a week.

I cant do corn tortillas either.

Best "Mexican" food I've ever had was in New Mexico hosted by a bunch of native New Mexicans of indian/mexian/gringo heritages. All of them grew and roasted their own chili's. Made their own flour tortillas too. Nobody made or had corn tortillas.

I still watch the video I took of Martin rolling out tortillas talking about how he learned how from his mother.

had this discussion with my daughter at the dinner table last night.
unbeknownst to me, there is a specific gene for this. her science teacher actually used cilantro. its a genetic thing. its not your fault. its the vaccine.
