    Default Jeep lift question

My 97 TJ need a little more clearance for the front tires- they hit the fenders when the suspension is compressed at times- the rear has plenty of clearance. I can lift the front 2" with the spring spacers or by installing a taller spring kit. After lift the front would still be slightly lower than rear.
Anyone have experience with this- pro/cons. Has coil springs- not leaf springs.

I put a 2” on our 97 a few years ago. Got the entire kit from Quadratec. Ended up with a slight drive train vibration. Adjusted the pinion angle and vibration gone. The rear sway bar would make some noise on hard turns. Had to adjust the sway bar mount and now that is gone. All that was 5 years ago and everything had been good since.

Anything more than 2" look at adjustable lower control arms. I would do it even with 2". Find factory caster specs and have it adjusted to those specs.
I had 3" springs on an XJ that would max out the travel with the factory straight lower arms. The "bent" adjustables eliminated that contact and subsequent death wobble. Ended up with 5.5" springs and same control arms before I sold it.

KRT is the answer to this question. Drop it off and go build some docks. Come back when it’s finished.

I would probably just do a spacer lift on the front to level the jeep out. Easy and cheap.
