Damn some of y’all are worked up over this shit. I lost interest in the virus, politics, and whining last September and haven’t looked back. I’ve spent a ton of time in the woods and with family and loved every bit of it. I don’t agree with some of y’all and some of y’all I feel like I agree with on a ton of shit. But as for COVID and the bullshit that comes with it I have lost interest and moved on with my life. I will probably have to get the vaccine later this year due to needing to get on an airplane and will address that when the time comes.

I don’t even know where to start. Based on previous posts, I’m about 95% sure Acebasinman is a doctor who specializes in pediatric vaccinations/research. Basically, if there is an expert on this stuff on SCDucks, he is it. You are right, we do live in America where you certainly have the right to choose to get the vaccine or not. But, if you are going to come on here and bash and name call anyone who disagrees with you as lemmings or democrats, sheep, whatever while offering no substantial evidence as to why we are all wrong and you are right, people have the ability to call you out on it.

On another note, I am so confused about who Donald Trump is... Greatest President ever? Drainer of the swamp? Part of the swamp? Puppet for the swamp? Democratic operative? I’m lost...

One, until a few minutes ago when I read acebasinman's post above mine above, which I hadn't read since I had replied and posted the link I did as an open post for information only and not in response to any individual, I had no idea he apparently has a medical background. I don't know him and don't recall any previous interaction, so had/have no way of knowing that info.

At the same time, because he apparently has a medical background, and according to you that includes something extra about vaccines (I'll assume you're right), I would expect an open-minded person (a NON-Lemming) to not just spew crap about the owner of the site I linked to, but actually read the article. He didn't appear to do so or he would have argued the points made and not just attacked the site owner. And, particularly since I mentioned right up front who Mercola was, and that he's essentially viewed as an 'outsider' (like Trump), and that he was only publishing information previously published by other scientists, researchers, and doctors, et al. If Mercola was just posting his own personal opinion, I doubt I'd bother posting it for reading anywhere.

Again, fwiw, I have no 'permanent' position on these 'gene therapy trials', or 'vaccines' to the rest of you, but as stated have been trying to follow the pros and cons from as many reasonably believable sources as possible. Dr. Fauci and the CDC are only included to see what crap they are going to say or post this week and use as a reference point. And I really do hope that the naysayers, as qualified as many of them apparently are, prove to be wrong for everyone's sake. Believe it or not, I know a number of guys here, many of whom have stated they have gotten or will be getting the shot(s), and I'd hate to see them have something go wrong. I've lost too many friends in the past few years, with many more coming, I'm sure, to wish that on too many people.

My comment about acting like 'Democrat Lemmings' still stands... not because I'm a hypocrite as I really don't care who make the decision for themselves and/or their families to get the shot(s)... but because any intelligent and rational person, of which I thought a fair amount existed on this site, ought to at least be open to read or listen to the alternative opinions before they decide to do it. Period.

no, you asked a good question. its just not a simple issue.

Obviously, my tact is not quite perfected yet....but I just dont understand the kneejerk "I'm not taking the vaccine bc the gov cant make me and the virus wont kill me anyway." Strick9, for example. and I GET IT! BUT, the reasoning is faulty. Certainly, its easier not to be afraid of doctors if you need them....or not afraid of the vaccine if you need it (elderly).

We are certainly living in interesting times. IMO, censorship and political divisiveness are huge issues. Its hard to "trust" anyone and that is a huge part of the reaction to the vaccine.
